- Lift Back Cover Opening Knob (14) to Back Cover (22) and remove Battery Compartment
(16) by turning it counter-clockwise with a coin.
- Insert two batteries inside the battery holder with plus (+) side facing up. Then
replace the holder in the compartment and tighten it by turning it clockwise.
- To check the batteries, push down the Illumination Button (7) by the side of the
Shutter Speed Dial Plate while the Shutter is cocked, the LED light inside the
Exposure Drum 10 should be turned on; If the LED light becomes dim, the batteries
might be exhausted and must be replaced.
- When shooting in dim light, you can adjust the focus and the aperture under the LED light.

Notices:
Do not use batteries of various types or fresh and low at the same time
When using the camera below 0oC, please use new silver oxide batteries.
Used batteries should be removed from the camera to prevent the fluid leakage from the battery.

Loading Preparation
-
Open the Camera Back
Cover (22).
-
Reset the Exposure Counter (19) by pushing down the Winding Button (3) to its original position,
which show "s".
-
Insert film winding shaft
Press down Film Winding Shaft Take-off Button (24) to spring out Winding shaft
(down)(25), Insert the take-up spool (without film) into Film Winding shaft
(upper)(20), then push down Winding Shaft (down)
(25) to catch the hole at the end of spool.

Loading Film
- Insert the film up through Film Pilot Roller 1(13) and pull out the tip.
- Press Film Feed-in Shaft Take-Off Button (29) to spring out Film Feed-in Shaft (down) (28).Insert the film spool into Film Feed-in Shaft (upper) (16). Then push down Film Feed-in Shaft (down) (28) to catch the hole at the end of spool.
- Insert the film tip against the film plane ,and pull out the tip from the Film Pilot Roller 2 (26).
- Insert the tip into the slot of take-up spool.
- Rotate Winding Knob anti-clockwise, till the Film Starting Index is aligned with Film Start Index (18) on film plane.
- Close Back Cover, there is an information clip for holding the film packages with detailed information.
- On Back Cover, there is an information clip for holding the film packages with detailed information.

Exposure Counter
- Keep on winding till the knob could not be moved further, the film will be set at the first frame automatically .The counter will display "1".
- After the first frame has been shot, press down Winding Button and rotate Winding Knob (3) until the second frame is set, the counter will display "2".

Retrieving Film
- After the Frame 6 has been exposed. rewind the film back into winding shaft.
- Open Back Cover (22) and press down Film Winding Shaft Take-Off Button to spring out Film Winding Shaft (down) (25), then take out the exposed film.
Notice
Avoid direct sunshine while loading and retrieving the film.

To set the shutter speed, please rotate Shutter Speed Dial
Plate (6) until the desired speed is aligned with the Index
Mark (7).
Cocking the Shutter
-
Set
the shutter speed at 1/60 or 1/250 sec.
-
Wind
Shutter Cocking Arm (8) counter-clockwise from Winding
Knob (2) side to the click position of Shutter Speed
Dial (6) side. The click sound means the shutter has
been cocked.

Release
the Shutter
-
By
pushing down Shutter Release Button (1), the shutter slot
becomes open. and start to move, scan and expose the
film clockwise at set speed.
-
When
the shutter slot rotates to the finishing position, the
shutter slot will be closed immediately.

Notices
-
When
the speed is set at 1/2 sec, the rotation resistance
from gear transmission becomes stronger, so the extra
force will be implied on the shutter cocking. Be sure to
set the shutter speed at 1/60 sec or 1/250 sec while
cocking the shutter.

The shutter must be cocked into the position in one time,
the hand could be moved away from the Shutter Cocking
Arm till you hear a "click" sound.
-
After the shutter cocking, never forget to adjust the shutter speed as per the exposure
requirement. Shutter Speed Dial Plate should be set in the "Click" position.

After cocking the shutter,
the slot becomes open, please finish the shooting as early as possible to avoid the accident light leakage.
-
Like most large format professional cameras, the shutter cocking does not couple with the film advance, the multi-exposure could be achieved.
-
Shutter Release Button is equipped with a remote control socket for using standard cable release.

- Do not leave the camera in a hot place for a long time.
- After shooting seaside scenes, clean the camera very carefully. Sea breezes may cause corrosion of the camera mechanism.
- Remove dust and dirt on the lens and viewfinder with a soft lens brush. Always take extra care to avoid scratches.
- Remove the batteries if you do not use the camera for an extended period.
